Hi boys,

I have a chance of getting a rear louvre panel for my T8, only trouble is there are no clips to fit to the back window..
the rear louvre is a Saab made/branded item (made in Denmark) from about 1983

its a early one with no cut out for the 3rd brake light....

question is do Saab still sell them ?

Paul

I may have a similar... mine is made by Thermoform or something...

I don't know if anybody is still producing them...

Also I don't think they were originally sold by saab...

They were sold by Saab as an extra out of the accessories-program....

Well I am not talking about the one with SAAB cut out on the side,,, actually it dosn't say Saab any place... So maybe I am wrong...

tschau,.

this one I have seen does not say/have the SAAB (cutout) down the side of it...

its branded as Saab

Paul

Would you be so kind and tell me what you're talkin about? What is this Louvre thingy?

the good old 80s relley marketing whatever...

well it's a louvre that protects the rear window from dirt, sun and what ever... In the winter pretty usefull as long as you don't have too much snow...

but in summer i don't see any sence, does not keep the cars inside any cooler at least I didn't feel it...

in German, Heckscheibenjalousien

the translation did not work *grrr* :lol

right, now i know what you are talking about...

in german: scheusslich
in english: ehm, i do not like it :lol

guess you´re talking about a *gurkenhobel*, right ??

:err

translation

hehe, möcht mal wissen wieviele da jetzt mit ihrem translation- book vorm monitor gesessen haben... mir konnte das bei "rear louvre panel" jedenfalls nicht weiter.. :1zhelp ..en

Today I am heavy on wire, gell ?
I took coincidentally a photo of such an ugly Heckscheibenj(e)alousie and I am überhaupt ned "jealous" (eifersüchtig) of thutch a greissliches Teil.

BEAUTY VANISHES, UGLINESS REMAINS !!! (is an old german Weisheit)

The red car standing in front of mine belongs to my special friend  Manitou and I took this photo when he was bei mir zu Besuch last year. - (bitte ned angry sein, Mani !?)
Enclosed you will hoffentlich find my nice ? photo, showing me and my girlfriend Resi.

Viele sinceere-verbindliche Saab-greetings from Eurem good old Fritz

PS: Und ausserdem am I standing in the halteverbot...

Yo. . . I first thought it was about Hochkultur (Rear Louvre? In the rear court of the Louvre there's that Pyramid, I know, but what about SAAB???), but then I suddenly as I read "Back window" I knew that it's about those err things. ..
Anyway I can't see where the use of them in Winter should be??

the picture of the red C900 is the correct one...

there are 4 plastic clips that stick to the window & the louvre pops onto the 4 clips
