Hello there. I have a 94 model Saab 9000 CDE. The vehicle's check engine light is on. I need a diagnostic device to find this problem and I don't know the name of this device. Could you please tell me the name of that device? (The connector is under the right seat. It has green and black wires)

The device you are looking for is a Tech2. You need a special PC-card with Saab-software for it, version 44.000.
 
I think you can try to count the blinks when the ignition is on without the engine started.
